Government Gateway Assistance (Phone)
Duration: 30 minutes

This appointment is to guide you through assigning Portrait as your authorised agent via the Government Gateway. During the session, we’ll help you access the Government Gateway portal, complete the necessary steps, and confirm our appointment as your nominated representative. This authorisation allows us to manage your business rates on your behalf and communicate directly with the relevant authorities, ensuring everything is handled quickly and correctly.

Duration: 30 minutes

This appointment is to guide you through assigning Portrait as your authorised agent via the Government Gateway. During the session, we’ll help you access the Government Gateway portal, complete the necessary steps, and confirm our appointment as your nominated representative. This authorisation allows us to manage your business rates on your behalf and communicate directly with the relevant authorities, ensuring everything is handled quickly and correctly.

Duration: 15 minutes

This appointment is to arrange a call-back from one of our team.

Detailed Property Assessment (Video Call)
Duration: 45 minutes

This appointment is to complete a property survey using our MagicPlan tool. If you have a compatible iPhone with LiDAR (iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max, 13 Pro/Pro Max, 14 Pro/Pro Max, or 15 Pro/Pro Max), we will guide you through using the app remotely to capture your floor plan. If you don’t have a suitable device, we’ll send you a floor plan kit in the post and arrange a video call to walk you through the process. This ensures we can quickly and accurately produce a detailed floor plan to support your assessment.

Detailed Property Assessment (At Location)
Duration: 60 minutes

One of our project coordinators will be attending the property to complete a floor plan survey as part of your business rates review. The survey is quick and non-intrusive, typically taking around 30 minutes, and does not usually require on-site assistance unless there are specific access or safeguarding requirements. If your property has restricted access, limited opening times, or safeguarding considerations, please let us know.

Preliminary Assessment (Phone)
Duration: 15 minutes

This call is to talk about your current business rates valuation and find out if there have been any changes to your property that may not be reflected. During the assessment, we may request images of the property and ask if you already have a floor plan available. If no floor plan exists, we will confirm whether your property is suitable for a remote survey (video call) or if an on-site surveyor visit will need to be arranged.

Preliminary Assessment (Video Call)
Duration: 30 minutes

This appointment is a video call with one of our team to gain a clear understanding of the internal layout of your property. You will be given a Microsoft Teams link to join the call at the scheduled time. During the session, our agent will guide you to video-specific areas of the property to support your business rates assessment. Requirements: A smartphone or tablet with a working camera A stable internet connection Access to the Microsoft Teams link provided in your confirmation email
